Default Pros and Cons of Exedy and Action clutches

I'm looking at two clutches. I don't have or will never have high HP or torque so I don't need something extreme.

The Exedy clutch is the organic disc and racing pressure plate http://www.clutchcityonline.com/main...ge=special.htm

or

the action Street HD Single Heavy Duty pressure plate and the Street Disc
http://www.exospeed.com/ .

Does anybody have experience with either of these clutches? Good or bad, lets hear them.

I am also thinking about this flywheel if I can talk the pops into in (he's helping me pay for part of it for christmas and also helping me install everything)
http://www.nipponpower.com/drivetrain/flywheel/act.html I'm looking at the ACT streetlite FW at 12.5 pounds. Anybody have any experience with this flywheel?

Sorry for the thousands of questions but I want to figure it out before I shell out the money.
Aaron

PS - I've searched HT for the past two days and found some stuff on the Exedy but wanted to hear more about it and the Action!

i have never had any experience with exedy, and never heard of Action. I have not heard anything good about exedy. just buy a clutchmasters or act, they seem to be the best clutches for hondas. Check on ebay, some dude is selling clutchmasters for real cheap there

When you say Action clutches do you mean Action Clutch Technoligies (ACT) they are one in the same. I have a Exedy and would say it does hold really good even at higher power levels. It has a good feel to it and unlike most others you can easly slip the clutch to keep the wheels from spinning. The pedal feel is the same as the stock clutch and has very smooth actuation. Exedy is the OEM provider of Honda's clutches. I know people have good experence with ACT but their only complant is the harder clutch pedal pressure. I do not have any experence with clutchmasters personally but they do make good clutches. My personal opinion is for the VALUE get the Exedy you wont be disapointed.

Action is a little clutch shop in LA. ACT stands for Advanaced Clutch Technologies. Two different companys. Action has a street clutch that is similar to the Exedy so I was curious if anybody was running an Action clutch. I will probably go with the Exedy! thanks guys

ACTION is a different company from ACT.

ACTION has actually been in business for over 40 years and has mainly stayed on the sidelines private labeling performance clutches for some Mazda, Audi and VW tuners. THey also have been manufacturing HONDA/Acura stuff since the early 90's and just recently decided to go bigger and hold of on the private label stuff and do their own line of clutches.

I have my Action Kevlar with heavy duty pressure plate in my room as we speak. Hopefully as soon as my Fidanza flywheel gets here and I get it all in I can give a review.

From what I have heard and read Action is the best when it comes to clutches for our cars.

I have the Exedy and it holds really well. I love it. Then again I dont have a turbo or nitrous so I dont know how it would hold up in really high horsepower applications.

I have the exedy organic, pedal pressure's a bit stiff but the clutch holds really well. I know people with 180+whp that uses this clutch, it can still hold the power.

Had an Exedy organic in my last GSR, have an Action segmented kevlar in my current GSR. There is absolutely no comparison whatsoever. The Action clutch destroys the Exedy, though in all fairness the segmented kevlar is a more performance oriented product then the Exedy organic. Though the cost is only marginally higher. Contact Rocket on this board, he deals Action clutches and is a very pleasant fellow to boot.
