problems when shifting at high rpms

problems when shifting at high rpms
I switched out my stock p72 for a P28/S200, but when I push the car up towards redline and shift it jerks like it hit the rev limiter. This also happens when im downshifting into higher RPM ranch around 6 and above. Anyone know why this is happening.
