Default Problems with Speedometer after New Tranny Install.............

OK, so yesterday I installed a JDM GSR tranny with LSD into my 2000 Si that has a built b16 block. The tach works, but the speedometer does not work at all. I have already replaced the VSS today and it still doesn't work as well as checked the Alternator/SP Fuse under the dash and it is fine. I checked the pins on the clip that attaches to the VSS and all the pins are in place. I am running out of ideas and wondering if anyone can possibly help me out.

UPDATE:

Took the VSS out of the tranny and cleaned it with parts cleaner/blowed it off with air, then also blew out the plug and rechecked all of the pins. Plugged it in and bam! It worked. I guess something was messing with the connection between the plug and the VSS. Everything is gravy now. Thanks for the replies!

the VSS plug is on the back/top/right side of the tranny if you are looking at it from the front of the car.
