Just put back together my b16 with golden eagle sleeves,, 84.5mm bore,, wiseco pistons(9.1 comp), eagle rods, lightend flywheel, and more small stuff,, well anyway it starts fine,, it idles fine,, it is just that when i try to give it some throttle it boggs,, hmmm like if i just tap the throttle its fine,, but when i try to give it about 50 to 75 percent throttle it boggs,,? fuel press is at 40psi,, and i am gonna do a compression check tomorrow, does anyone know what kinda numbers i should expect from the 9.1 comp ratio? please help thanx nate

 

shouldnt bog that bad even with 9 :1 it should still be responsive... anyways check your cam and igntion timing they might be off a lil bit

yeah, im gonna check and recheck all the timing today.. any other opinions on what can be wrong,,, anyone think it can be an air/fuel issue?

 

You should see around 170-180 I believe. Bogging is usually an A/F problem though.

 

What size injectors are you running?

 

Stock size injectors,, and i have checked all the timing and it is timed perfect... Still can't figure this thing out.. any other opinions...????
