Default problems with RC 1000cc injectors

I put RC 1000cc p&h injectors in my built gsr turbo hatch and they are giving me problems.

We had to set the injector size to 600 to get the car to start, we had no idea why. The car was running like crap, randomly missing, wont rev etc.

We checked: compression, plugs, wires, timing, cap, rotor, fuel pressure, fuel flow, redid my injector wiring.

I pretty much narrowed it down to the injectors themselves so i took them to kinsler fuel injection in troy, mi. Here are my results:

Injector 1: 240cc
Injector 2: 330cc
Injector 3: 750cc
Injector 4: 880cc

They are going to do some ultrasonic cleaning on them to get them all back to 1000cc. What do you think happened? They were brand new??

yah but that doesn't explain the super low flow ratings.

if they were new, return them or call RC about it.

they already did the cleaning, ill put them on and see what happens. if they act up again, ill definitely do some investigation. im assuming it will happen again because it already did once.

i'd return then anyway

imagine if they fail and you lean out a cyl or two....

they should not be dirty or malfunction at all if they are indeed new. i'd call RC first thing if i were you but hey, they are not mine lol

i always update my threads once i figured out the problem: i got the injectors back (all flowing 1000CC now) and took a look at my fuel system.
the fuel filter was disintegrated (orig from '93) and the tank is all rusty... so i have some work to do!

How would that have helped the bad fuel filter and rusted gas tank??

Not that it matters much, but rc injectors come with a sheet showing their flow test results.

Rusted/contaminated tanks suck.
