problems with my IAB. HELP!!!!!!!
I hookup my IAB to A17 however the solenoid is not getting the signal to close. I tested the wires that go to the solenoid and wiried them to the battery and it worked fine. I know thw wires are good and that the solenoid is good and I have tested the wires with my MM. I currently have them on a relay to open when vtec kicks in!!! any suggestions? help

How do you know that they aren't closing??? when you start ur car they are shut by the vacuum... When your ECU tells them to open up the IAB solenoid breaks the vacuum and they pop open... I'm just curous how you know that they aren't opening... Lemme know... Peace

Yea exactly.... The vacuum shuts the butterflies when you start the car and when the IAB solenoid gets a 12 volt signal it releases the vacuum and lets them open up... A stock GSR ECU IAB x-over is at ~5700rpm

My bad fastwanabe.... I read that totally wrong... So when you start your car up they don't get sucked closed?? I would check into the solenoid itself if all your wiring is good.... Good Luck
