problem with safc..please help!

Default problem with safc..please help!

i just sold an SAFC to this guy and he said he tried to test it to the battery...

he says it doesnt work, and now hes callin me a scammer...even made a thread about it too.. did he fry it??...or does it just not work at all when u plug it to the battery?..i saw it working when we took it out, so i dont know what hes talking about.

any help would be great, thanks.

You have to actually wire it in, cant just test it to the battery like a stereo.

He cooked it! It recieves power via your ecu...and that is a controlled voltage with a constant stable current. straight to the battery is way to much current for it. tell him it runs off of 120 a/c and see if he tries to hook it up in a wall outlet

ehhh **** it he called me a scammer and made a thread all about it and **** this is so gay so i gave him his money back ....im out $150 now. no more selling on HT. i am so disappointed now. i wasnt really trying to make any money off of it either.

You shouldn't have given his money back!

It's his fault that he fried the thing 'cause he's and idiot!

Are you even sure it's toast? Did he completely wire it in and it still didn't work or did he just touch it to the battery and determined it was messed up?

He probably has it wired in and just got a FREE SAFC 'cause you gave him back his money...

well i also gave the safc back and all is well i didnt know i was suppost to hook it up to a wall outlet

it works, i tired it out on my friends car. lights up fine, just didnt hook it up to a battery.
