Default probaly a dumb question with valve train

I have a b18b (mods in sig) and i was thinking of swapping in the type r valve train. springs, retainers, and valves. I know they are able to rev till about 9000. I am not really trying to rev that high cause i know my redline is only 6800 but i figure this will make it a lil more reliable and i do drag on a reguler bases and will be starting to autox the car. I am also probaly going to upgrade to turbo with in a year. would this actualy help in reliabilty since i do rev up high at the track and figure while autox i will be constantly in my uper and mid section of my rpms. I just don't want to start tracking and end up blowing my valve train.

O and when these get in i will be planing on P&P head and adding some kind of decent cam. nothing to wild.

cliff notes

upgrade to type r valve train with basic bolt ons for now
and will it still be good for when i do more upgrades.

or should i just do a whole new set up like skunk 2 or others

Also, without a bigger cam to make more power, tighter springs just wear the cams more and add resistance to rotation actually sucking horsepower off. If you have stock cams use stock springs there wont be any benefit.

No company has an ls cam thats worth a ****. The heads themselves just suck. whatever amount of money you spend on cams wouldnt be worth it.
