Precision Injector install-Injector clip dosn't fit!

Precision Injector install-Injector clip dosn't fit!
Alright, so I got my new Precision 780cc (sport compact) peak and holds in tonight. I started installing them when I realized That my current injector clips do not fit the New injectors.
NEW Injectors shown below:
Current Injector clips:
I'm Currently running DSM bluetop injectors(as shown below):
My buddys has a 2nd gen eclipse, and i tried his injector clips with my injectors and they clip right in... His clips below:
Can I just splice his injector clips where my old ones are? I don't see why I couldn't.
Just wanted some input before I go ahead and do it.

you can either splice in other clips. if you look at the inside of the current clips you have though, you can slice off the tab on the inside that isn't allowing it to slide over.
