I have a 93 si coupe and i cant seem to figure out why my steering is hard??? I have changed ball joint,tie rod ends, rack!!!!! i also need an aliment, but if feels like i need to change my sturts and springs!!!! Could sagging springs and struts make the steering hard to turn???? I have checked all pumps/belts etc.... I have no clue what is going out....could you guys help me out.......

When was the last time you checked your tire pressure? Could be that they are low, and that would cause the steering to seem a bit stiffer... Just throwing things out there that you might have overlooked. HTH

how bad do you need an alignment??

 

power steering fluid? try checking your helms for the instructions on tightening the rack bushings..etc...or loosening in your case..but I'm not sure how it would've gotten tighter

 

I dont really need the aliment right away..i can still drive straight for a good while.. My tire pressure is fine i checked that 2 days ago...I havent checked the bushings yet....how would i know if they need adjusting????? what should i be looking for in the bushings??
