Default Worn Steering Column

Hi guys,

I think my steering column is worn/damaged. The car follows imperfections in the road and steering feedback is vague; not to mention excessive play at neutral. I was wondering how to go about solving this problem. The alignment might be at fault too, and I haven't ruled out uneven tire wear. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

Shingo

Default Re: Worn Steering Column (Shingoblade-GSR)

I'm not sure if this pertains...But GSR's have Power assisted steering. Meaning It feels more like Power steering at slow speeds...easier turning. At faster speeds, less assisting, You feels the road more and feel more incotrol.

I don't know if this is what you are feeling, but mine is like that all the time...maybe it's just my car...I dunno *shrugs*

anyone else feels this?
