Default power gains from head porting and decking on a b18c1?

ive heard various things about getting honda engines ported, such as"honda has such a damn good design and is well engineered from the factory that it has no need to be worked on" (the head By the way) i read that **** somewhere. but what im asking is if i get the head a mild port and polish job and the head shaved to raise compression to around 11:1, how great will the results be? the engine will also have a skunk2 intake,dc header, injen intake, apexi WS catback,MSD 6aL ignition,Mugen chipped p28 ECU, its OBDII converted to OBDI. USDM spec. is it worth the bother? thanks to all that respond.

I wouldn't deck the head. Instead I'd throw in some TypeR pistons and a thinner head gasket.

I would also do a P&P last once I've built the engine with the pistons/cams/etc., and have it done by someone who knows what kind of design to utilize for your engine whether it be NA or FI, etc.
