Default Potential Danger that may lead to ENGINE DAMAGE???

i bought my gsr like two years ago and i have done my fair share of upgrades. n e ways, i noticed my crank pulley a while back wobbling slightly when i would use a timing light. i have a pritty good idea that it was like that since i bought it. so i changed my timing belt and water pump the other weekend. after i got done for some reason i got concerned about it so i called my friend that works at a honda distributer and he said that it could be a number of things but chances are that it wasnt good since he didn't have a chance to look at it yet. is this a catastrophic problem i should be concerned about? i decided b4 i do anything drastic ima change the pulley and see if the problem is that the crank pulley out of ballance. is the crank possibly bent?(lol) seriously. or am i in danger of blowing a bearing?(lol). and the crank bolt is tightened to spec so thats not it, i checked.

p.s. sorry about all the double puns

You need to put a dial indicator on the crank snout and check if it is bent. It's likely that it is not because in order to bend the crank snout enough to actually see it you would have had to drop the crank on the ground to bend it. The damper can have the outer ring slip on it's rubber which could cause it to be off kilter.

no, i have never taken out the crank and im pritty sure that the previous owner didnt either. so i guess i should just change the damper and see if the problem presists then make decisions from there wouldn't you say?

oh yeah. the spec is supposed 2 be 140 foot lbs. and i checked after i did the timing belt twice. well if u figure that i was a existing problem b4 i ever touched the pulley bolt and the pulley. and um yeah the bolt took like 2 full grown men's weight to loosten so there is no possible way that the problem was the bolt. im sure of it.

impacts are nice for those bolts you just can't use them to put em back on.

Axle nuts are nice with impacts as well.

I would try to source another crank pulley first since that would be cheapest.
