Default Post-Swap NO START- HELP

ok, i swapped a built 00' D16y8 into my 98 Civic...

I used my stock D16y5 Wiring harness...from my 98 HX, and a P2P ECU from a 97 civic EX...we swapped the motor in, wired her up, and it wont start...it turns over but we're getting no spark.

There are two plugs/sensors/whatevers left over on the wiring harness with nowhere left to go....can this all be fixed by getting a OBD2-A harness?

What would you all reccomend?

Thanks
-Tom.

i went to switch out the distributors..and the plugs coming off the distributor htat plugs into the wiring harness are different...

therefore im led to assume that:

Since the plugs from the distributor are different, the distributor itself is different...and since its different it won't work on tihs engine, and thus since i cant swap them out since the plug from the harness wont fit hte plug on the other distributor...i must buy a new harness...im on my way to honda...i dont really care about the $ i just want everything to work right.
