Hey all--
So I got back from a 19-pull dyno tuning session yesterday with a bunch more power (more on that in another post when I scan my dyno sheet) and a few new troubles.
setup is 99 Si w/ I/H/E, V-AFC, Skunk2 cam gears, GS-R cams and a 9 lb flywheel (if that matters)
The car can barely idle now. When it's not stalling, it idles really choppy from 600-700rpm back and forth. 2 minutes before it threw the code, the car bucked/hesitated big time from 1500-2500 rpms pulling away from a light. It threw a CEL code "45"--which is "too rich/lean"
It had a bunch of work on the fuel curves, but that didn't affect the idle. We also advanced the intake cam 2.5 deg and retarded the exhaust -4 deg. (yes that's a lot, and it's probably part of the answer to my problem, but the car made its biggest power like that).
Ignition timing is advanced to 18 deg.
Thoughts regarding how I should lean out the narrow throttle settings to fix this? I didn't figure on this happening, so I didn't tune the narrow throttle stuff there there (I was busy standing on it from 3000rpm
)
Any insight is welcome.
[edit] Here's the plot. Red is the first baseline, blue is the final result.

Heehee!!! Glad to hear we're in the same boat! PLEASE share w/ me what you do to fix it when/if you figure it out!!! PM me.
Sorry I left early--I had other commitments that evening. I saw (and heard--Jesus Christ!!!) your first pull. What the hell did you walk away with?

220 whp with 153.5 tq. I picked up 25 hp at 7200 from baseline.

I forgot to go back and lean it out at idle after we changed my injector multiplier.
