dyno tuning steps
getting ready to start tuning the kaa.....
not sure what works best in what order.
so post your suggestions / tips / problems when you've tuned a car , anything that works good , anything that works bad.
parts to tune are -
VAFC
cam gears
timing
FPR
thats it , I know there is a logical order to tune these in so post what works best for you.

first is a baseline run to see where your power is at its best point and where the power band dies off.
then distributor timing is adjusted; a couple dyno passes are made.
then cam sprocket adjustments are made and passes are made on the dyno to get most juice outta the cams.
then fuel pressure settings are made, a couple dyno runs are done.
then electronic fuel/vtec settings are set, a few more dyno passes are done to fine tune.
depending on what camshafts you have is how long dynoing will take also. I hear Toda B's and Jun cams can take quite a while to fine tune.

I listed what will be tuned quite clearly....
since when does compression and engine denote what order you tune in ??
from past dyno experiences this is what was done...

cams are 00 ITR..... should be nice though.

If you want just an order:
1. Tune the Cam gear first for what you want.
2. If you moved the cam gear, you will HAVE to adjust your timing because the timing will have changed.
3. Tune the FPR.
4. Then tune the VAFC
another option is:
1. Tune the FPR
2. Tune the cam gear.
3. TIming
4. VAFC
But what I would do is tune cam gear, then timing, then FPR, then see if you can get more out of hte cam gear, if you moved the cam gear, readjust timing, then VAFC.
