Default Is it possible to remove rocker shafts with the head installed in the car?

EDIT: Looks like they can exit the head on the passenger side as well. That's what you get for starting projects at midnight.

remove the gold 10mm allen head screws from the drivers side of the head, the one from the passenger side, and the vtec solenoid assembly. Then get a 12mm bolt, thread it into the rocker shaft on the passenger side until the thread stops, and slowly pull the shaft out towards you, while removing the rocker assembly section by section.

Thanks for the replies. I was looking at a diagram that showed the shafts to the right of the head and did not realize that you can also pull them from the passenger side as well.

Got it all taken care of and she runs like a champ!

Yup, they can be removed from either side, but the helms manual instructs to remove from the passenger side using a bolt. But there are other ways of doing a lot of things..
