Default port and polish?

i got a new turbo exhaust manifold, and my y7 head and im planning to try to port and polish it soon, is there a safe way to get a professional port and polish in my garage? is it safe to use a drimmel with the sanding and polishing bits?.......... i am skilled in precision tasks, is that enough?

how will blow it up? no without lots of expertise and experience with head porting you may/will do more harm then good. You could do a slight "polishing" remove some casting flaws, add some texture to the intake ports to help support a homogenous mixture. that is about as far as i would go. Just a very light touch up if you will. anymore than that its best to send it out to someone who has been doing honda heads for awaile that knows what it takes to get good solid gains, flow benches are also very useful tools for that task.

best advise i can give is just go do a bunch of research on some simple things that you can do. i personally would never use a dremel, i am all the time reworking peoples work. if you only have a dremel it will work for now. make sure you have a decent valve job performed so the head will still flow decent
