polyurethane bushings in my ek hatch (squeaking) help
i have polyurethane bushings from energy suspension. didnt use any lubricants or anything. there is alot of squeaking coming from my car. it gets very annoying at time. and the only thing i can think of is the bushings...do i have to take off each bushing and put silicone grease or lubricant or can i jus put some of it on without taking them off. any help would be greatly appreciated.
You will have that at times always use the grease!!! Id recommend taking out the ones that were pressed in and putting a good coating of grease one them and even then you might still have a little sqeeking but teh performance should be worth it.. goodluck anyone correct me if i am wrong
Use white lithium grease, it will last the longest. But yes, there will be some binding with poly bushings so they will definitely want to make noise with any sort of suspension movement. The only solution is long lasting grease.
