Has anyone modified poly mount inserts to soften them to a happy medium between stock and a full insert.

Be it you modified it by drilling holes into it, etc. and what were the results?


I have had a few cars with inserts and they grew annoying, but i never modifed them and Im wondering if it would make a difference or not.

 

I have modified stock mounts to make them a little stiffer, but not poly to be less stiff. It's prob easier to make the stock mounts stiffer. Lots of options. You can use an off the shelf silicone or polyurethane from a parts store or hardware store or order a poly filler from online.
