Poll: Testpipe users
How many members will be interested in purchasing an electronic Honda OBDII Catalytic O2 sensor simulator for your testpipe setup. It will be guaranteed to eliminate any kind of CEL light associated in installing a testpipe. Tentative prices are at $35-45. BTW, the simulator is for "off-road" use only.
i am certainly down for it, i am currently running a godspeed testpipe unit, which has gave me a code 67 after 2 months/2000miles of use....they said it could possibly be a damaged/or moved o2 sensor

negative for me. I'll stick to using a test pipe at the track for testing purposes. I hate the smell of exhasut when running sans cat. Besides the loss from a 3" cat compared to a test pipe isnt all that much
I know an OBD2 secret... neener neener neeeee-neeerr!!
Did you know that even though OBD2 Integra's & Civic's throw a check engine light for that damn sensitive 2nd 02 sensor, that the ECU doesn't actually go into safe mode!? huh..bet you didnt know that!
This also applies to the knock sensor as well.
to the KS.

Dont mean to be rude, but man why pay 40 bucks when you can make it yourself for about 5.00! That is if you want to pay a fine if caught also, running a test pipe is bad! I agree clean air!

I'm not sure if it's the dreaded "limp home mode", but my 98' Civic certainly goes into some sort of safe mode for incorrect rear O2 sensor readings. The instant the CEL comes on, there is a "hitch" in the rpm's. If I don't reset the ECU, I lose about 3-4 mpg, and suffer a noticeable (though not huge) loss of power throughout the rev band. This indicates to me that the mixture is a lot more rich than before.
