Default POLISHING MOTOR MOUNTS?

I picked up these used innovative polyurethane mounts which are in good condition, but they have some scratches and need some cleaning.

Would some sanding and mothers polish have these things looking new again?

I wouldnt hit them with sandpaper, but buffing them would bring them back.

Start with a 500 for deep scratches then work to 1000, 15000, then finally 2000. From there a buffing wheel will have them looking like new.
