Default Plugging oil squirters, what thread pitch?

b18c1 block...

I'd like to have the proper pitch before I go shopping for plugs. It could be metric fine 8mm x .75 but I'm not sure. If there is someone on here that has done this where did you buy plugs?

Thank you!

The easiest way to do this is cut the nozzle off and weld the hole shut. And with the nozzle shut you can still use the bolt and base, or what ever you call what is left of the nozzle. I know alot of racers that do this.

Makes sense...That's what I might end up doing.

So nobody knows what the thread is?

If you find a source for this size of bolt, let me know. The bolt could not be longer than .5 inch. It would be much quicker to install these bolts than to tap and plug the oil squirter hole. That way you could also return the oil squirters to the block, if desired.

If you dont plan on using them again, you can just drill and tap the original holes to 1/8" npt. Then install small plugs. That is what I did.
