Default plug n play shift light

i just got one of those shift lights u plug into your cigg. lighter and i was wondering if there is anyway to hardwire it?

Umm, yes? Cut of the plug and wire it to the ignition.

yea "plug into cigg. lighter socket" i want to know if there is a way to wire it so i dont have to use the cigg. lighter

I said it already. Cut off the plug and wire the power to the ignition wire and ground to any ground (chassis). As for the tach, I'm sure you need to tap into it or the light wouldn't know when to turn on. For that, you have to refer to the instructions. If the only connection to the light is the cig lighter plug, then I don't see how this can be a shift light.
