Default please help with vtec

ok i got a obdo hatch that i got a z6 in, im needing to know how to get the vtec to work with my apexi vafc. do i run it off the ecu or not.

The stock pm6 ecu will not engauge the vtec.. You wire the vafc to the vtec noid and it will activate it..

so i run the wire from the controller to the single plug wire coming out of the silinoid?

Correct.. You might need a relay there but im not sure..

Anyone else wanna answer that one..

ok the more i look into this the more i dont understand if some one has done this set up on a obdo civic with a pm6 ecu please help me.

Forget about the obd0 and the ecu.. If you send 12 volts to the vtec noid it will turn on.. The vafc will send 12 volts to it when you tell it to..

You could use the vafc's vtec output to turn on your head lights on your lawnmower if you wanted to.. Its just a rpm dependant 12 volt output..

ok there is 2 plugs on the noid what do i hook the out put to the single wire with the plug on it or the plug with the 2 prongs in it.

Single wire one.. the other plug is the vtec pressure sensor which you dont need.. With the engine off run a wire from the + side of your battery to the single wire connector and youll hear it click.. thats the noid turning on..
