im not sure i completely understand...you want me to pull the plugs out of the holes and put a screwdriver in them...and put by the rad support???? i can smell fuel after i crank it over...is it possible the engine is fludded from tappin the gas while tryin to start it so much..would this keep it from starting?
gzero...i dont really know what you are talking about...thanks for trying to help
poison thanks for you help and if you could explain the spark plug thing again i would appreciate it
poison thanks for you help and if you could explain the spark plug thing again i would appreciate it
what i was saying is just take out one spark plug, connect it to the cable and tell somebody to try to turn it on, you should be able to see sparks coming out of the spark plugs, that's all i want to see now
ok, you are getting fuel...
take out the spark plug wire...
take a screw driver (flat head or phillips, doesn't matter), put it inside the spark plug wire.
then take that wire with the screw driver in it in, and it it about 2 mm from the radiator support (a little gap), have someone crank over the motor and see if there is spark.
do this on all 4 cyl

ok if i did that thing correctly then i have absolutly no spark at all....i did it the way that said take out the wire, unscrew the plug and stick it in the wire and hold it close to the metal of the radiator support...i also tried the screwdriver...no sparks...what now?
this is all too weird, i think brown is ok, but why there isn't any spark? i'm thinking the ECU is not ok, did you check the fuse? i don't know where's the fuse box in that car, find out, look for the ECU fuse and see if the wire that is visible is not blown
I haven't read that you've checked the fuses in your engine compartment fuse box. Just for grins, check all your grounds (a loose thermostat ground can cause the symptoms your describing).
BTW you really should by a helms. They're only 64.00 and it'll be the best money you'll spend on your ride.

i don't think he has to go that basic, the car would start with that unplugged and probably throw a code for it, but i guess the car would start. yeah, i'm wating for him to check the fuses
NO! obviosly something wasn't right, so is not advisable, what you can do is take another fuse (same amperage) of some accesory that is not that important and put it in the place of FI E/M, something temporally just to see if it works fine, but i would advise to go tomorrow and buy it, you can even try a gas station right now, they usually have at the end of that dark hall

i was goin through the fuses and found a blown one....fuse 15a...on the panel it says FI E/M...any ideas???
FI E/M I believe controls the ignition relay (hence no spark), or it could be the ECU fuse or both. Couldn't tell you without my service manual in front of me to reference.
Great that you found that fuse and that's all it was. I'm confident your car will start fine with that fuse replaced.

cant i change it with another fuse temporarily till i buy a new one?
so you are getting no spark? check fuses...yes. replace all blown fuses with no higher than 5 over the AMP if not the same

Yeah, your car will definitely not start with that blown. I had my secondary o2 sensor short out between two of the four wires (the shielding melted) and it popped that fuse on me. I replaced the fuse and it popped again right away. I didn't know it was my secondary o2 wiring until I did a little looking around. Found the short, taped things up, replaced the fuse, and Voila... the car starts and runs fine.
