Default Please help with guage install?

Help!

I am installing an electrical oil pressure guage an electrical oil temp guage and a mechanical water temp guage in my 97 itr. I have hooked up the guage lights to the dash light dimmer and all is cool . I have hooked up all my grounds and my senders and all is cool. I am under the dash and am about to hook up the from the ignition to the back of the electrical guages. I think I will splice into the IG2 (YEL) wire that comes from the ignition switch to the 5-P CONNECTOR. Is this the correct wire? I am almost finished and I really don't want to screw up.

Thanks alot!

Victor Penner

PS they are all autometer phantom guages.

i dont know as for the water temp you have to drill into the head or the radiator or some **** like that to get a reading i dont know. but as for me I say if you dont know what the **** your doin and your not sure go to the speedshop. you may pay 60 bucks to hook it up but if they **** up and your **** catches fire you get some dough back instead of being assed out. Oh and also make sure that the power lines you hooked up to the guages that light up have fuses on them. just a precaution word hate to see you lose what you worked hard for feel me. good luck send us all a pic of how it looks bro.

thats right, the ever-dependable local speedshop is a great alternative to not knowing yourself. and you get to spend $60 bucks!
