Default PLEASE HELP FAST!!!

i have a 99 civic si with a 98 integra type r engine. i have a engine coolant temp code and the sensor has the correct resistance, the sensor has power in and out, and the computer has a signal in and out. i need to have it fixed by saturday so i can sell the thing. please help.

Are you testing the correct sensor? If it's a code for the TW sensor, it's not the one mounted on the radiator. The TW sensor was under the distrubutor area on older gen's, not sure about yours.

The sensor is a variable resistor. The value changes with temperature. They can develope dead spots as they go from cold to hot resistance values. You would really have to watch it patiently throughout it's operating range to see it. Easiest to just swap it out with a new/used one if all the other trouble shooting methods check out ok.

first off try and replace it with another one, its not that expensive like 5 bucks or so and go from there
