Default Please Help!!!

Okay, I've got a CEL 9 and I know that it is the no. one cylinder, but I just replaced the distributor a year ago come January. Is there anything else I should be concerned with. I ran a search and came up with tons or information, but need some sound advice. The car sputters (not really bad) in between gears. If I reset the ecu, will the code disappear? Is this really a timing issue or could it be something much worse. The car is a 93 del Sol Si with a D16Z6 in it. Please help. Thanks in advance.

If you reset the ecu, the code will only temporarily disappear, until the ecu senses that the no.1 cyl pos sensor is faulty. Did you replace your distributor with used one or a remanufactured one? If it was used, then perhaps the sensor finally went out or is on the way out. Unfortunately your only option maybe to get another distributor.
