Why 211.5 and not 212mm? Which crank?

I think they only make 212 & 226mm blocks. The 212mm block would use stock 137.9mm rods with a GSR crank.

The B18a/b/c B16b B20b/z are all 212.0138mm. Perhaps dart made them slightly shorter to increase compression who knows. In theory the rods used with a GSR crank should be .25mm shorter with that block, but I bet you get away with using stock length GSR rods(137.9) and then if necessary a slightly thicker gasket.

On a side note...$3300!?! for a block? screw that. You could get a stock one and sleeve it to 86mm for half that.

I'd probably bore to 85mm, but you can get either size from several manufactures. I'm running shelf JE 85mm pistons currently. Very nice design.

Sure why not. It'll bring displacement to 1979cc.
