Default piston/compression ratio question

kind of a newb question that i think i know the answer too, but i'm hoping someone might be able to help me out.

i bought these pistons/rods about a year and a half ago, and was told that they were 11:1. i didn't really know what i was doing at the time, and i just jumped on them cause i got a really good deal.

they're actually from the crower b16 stroker kit that uses an 89mm crank; so it's an LS length rod and a shortened piston. anyway, they've been sittin in a box since i bought them and i had planned on putting a motor together here pretty soon and when i pulled them out and i instantly thought there is no way they're an 11:1 piston.

is there a way i can figure out a ballpark range on the kind of compression ration these will have. i've got a caliper and mics, but i dont even know if i can do anything with them in this case. i dont really feel like building the whole motor and then realize great, i have an ultra low compression slow *** motor.

I'll check out some notes later I have and might be able to find something that will help you exactly calculate what the compression might be.

those pistons have to much of a "dish" to be 11:1CR.......maybe 9:1?

unless the chambers in the head are really small.

pretty much what i was thinking.......i'd have to hang those things out of the hole like 10feet
