Default Piston Clearance Problem and Question for ls/vtec.

I am building an all motor ls/vtec and I wanted to use ITR pistons. I got a b16 head with the golden eagle ls/vtec kit with a stock height head gasket. I've read both that the pistons will clear and that they will not and hit the valves. Could someone please clarify this for me. Thank You.

I'm using ITR cams. I searched and both came up. Some ppl said they would fit and some said they wouldn't.

one way to be sure is to clay the engine on assy. Or if you had a Borescope, but those are like $3K+...
I think some people also use the light valvespring method and do the "click" test.

If you’re building an all motor lsvtec I would recommend using B16 pistons over ITR pistons. It will bump your compression up a little more. I'm running the same setup and haven't run into any clearance issues. To be exact it’s about 11.3 - 11.5:1 with PR3 pistons.

PCT pistons are not better...
people giving wrong advise...

Pr3's or p30's are the way to go.

you will have no valve to pistons contact using itr cams.

Will there be any clearance problem with b16 cams either. Migth use stock cams for a while when i'm breaking the motor in.

If itr cams will be fine what do you think? b16 cams are much smaller and will have way more valve to piston clarance.
