Pillowball Mounts
The metal pillowball mounts apparently help you feel the road a little better. They also take some of the squishiness out of the ride. If you get a good setup, it will probably already have them anyway. I have them on my EG6, I like 'em.

may i ask what kind of setup do you have?
It's a lot like getting Energy Suspension bushings, only it's for the top of the shock, and it's made out of metal. It replaces the squishy rubber on top of the shock assembly with a metal-ball joint.
They are a nice upgrade if you are serious about racing or driving hard. They will let you feel 5 times more bumps on the road, so be prepared.
but i will feel the road? dont know if thats a good thing.
do we really need it?
i got tanabe sustec pro coilovers, no pillowball mounts and they handle like a dream. but im sure the pillowball mounts would help alot more, and what they mean by feeling the road is that your car will feel more responsive.

I'm getting Tein SS (teg) for my Eg and was looking at the mounts. Don't think I'll need them
