Default PGM-FI Light

I have been having this problem for a while and I just want it to go away. I have an 86 accord lxi and I recently swapped engines due to a broken timing belt. the engines are the same. Before the engine swap the PGM-FI light would come on after about 10-20 minutes of driving the light would come on and whenever I come to a stop and the engine was at idle it would begin to lope. I ruled this as the EGR valve. Then the timing belt broke and I replaced the engine, the engine nolonger lopes, but the light is still coming on after about 20-30 minutes of driving. What could the problem be...HOW CAN I FIX THIS?

Check to see if you have a loose connection somewhere and also check to see what the code is.
