here are pictures from under the car:




as you can see there is a t-fitting (3) that has no line on it. i dunno why. should there be something connected to it?

i also have a larger-dia, rubber hose that is hanging down from the top of the fuel tank. it has a quick-disconnect end on it and it goes nowhere. i have no clue where it should be going.

i no longer have the hard line that goes under the car to the evap canister. i'm guessing one of the lines i mentioned above, go to the front?

i have called two acura dealerships. nobody knows how this system should be set up.

please help. i want my EVAP system put back together!!

 

in picture 1 the 2 hoses coming off the evap bypass valve, 1 hose goes to the fuel tank and the other goes to the charcol canister...i dont noe wut #2 is pointing to


in the 2nd picture nothing plugs into 3 that is the way it is suppose to be

i have a rubber, corrugated line coming from the top of the fuel tank. anyone know what that goes too? it has a quick-connect fitting on it. i THINK it's supposed to hook up to one of the hard lines under the car, then to the charcoal canister?

 

yeah I would expect that line to run to a evap setup. The dealer should have access to a an emission hose diagram or evap schematic for you that will show you where it all needs to go but if not it should be in a chilton manual for your car

 

i dont think i remember a quick disconnect on mine
