Default painting windshield wipers

the time has come for me too paint my once black windsheild wipers, which have faded too silver back too black. any pointers on how too get the old paint off? would i juss sand with fine grit sandpaper?

you don't have to, honestly.

I just used some flat black hammerite on my hatchback's wiper arms. They came out great.

yes i would think this is cosmetic, but ill answer his question to what i did,
i took mine off, sanded them down with some sandpaper, semi high grit, i didnt get every bit of paint off, but i just got the major parts that were already flaking, then i sprayed with Rustoleom Flat Black, couple coats and your done
