Default Painting engine/transmission??

So i figured while im doing my swap i should clean everything up. I wanted to paint the engine and tranny a charcoal color. I couldnt find anybody with this color in high temp. paint except this place http://www.hightempenginepaint.com/ . Anyone used this paint before? Also how much precaution do i need to take? Someone was telling me you cant paint because the mettalic in the paint would make the engine ground out and run crappy. I was figuring just clean it up real good then tape off any needed areas and then spray away. Any advice will help

Also don't paint the area where the block meets the tranny, that's a ground path.
