Default Pacesetter ... any good?

I'm seriously thinking of getting a Pacesetter exhaust manifold for my 88 'lude. What do you guys think of them? I thought it would be good to check up before I bought a lemon! Thanks all!

You're a little late on the lemon thing, aren't you? As far as pacesetter goes, their products were pretty horrible the last time I looked at them..

Sell your car and buy a newer Honda, then think about making it fast...You remind me of my brother who sunk $1500 into his POS 88 ACCORD auto baby, geez..

I can only agree, while they may "work", they will more than likely have a short lifespan

Pacesetter= Paceshitter

Avoid them like the plague. They make APC look like OEM Honda.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I'm actually looking into a new header 'cause mine's all banged up on the bottom. It's really beat to sh't. So much that it causes turbulance, restriction, and a hotter running engine. Yeah. It's almost a necessity to get a header to replace this beater.

Plus, I mean, you don't need to have a new car to have fun with it. You won't believe the shape that my Prelude is in. If you didn't know what cars looked like through the ages, you would say it's a 95 or something. It's in top shape. Almost everything works and looks like it's new. I absolutely love my car!

So then, how's Chikara? I would get something from a less-oddball company if it's still in production for my year. Kinda hard to get a new header for an old car ...
