Default p2e vs p2p or p28 fuel maps

How different is the p2e(y7 non vtec) fuel map from the vtec ecu of p28 or p2p?
I did a minime swap, and the best solution is obviously p28, but i'm broke. I've heard that of you look at VTEC fuel mappings on a graph you will notice that there is little to no change in the mappings when vtec crosses over, same thing for ignition mapping.

I already have a Fields sfc vtec controller, and maybe i can just use that with the p2e to same some money.

Just need some confirmations from you experts.
