Default P28 question

I have an Auto H22a in my 96 Accord. Ive been running a manual chipped P28 together with a POF TCU and automatic OBD II- OBDI jumper harness. The problem is that inorder to hit the high RPM's and VTEC i have to shift manually. If i get an AUTO p28 chipped would this allow the car to rev higher like its supposed to??

Default Re: P28 question (96SIR)

so the engine has an automatic tranny. But the ecu is chipped as a manual? ok nevermind I had to read it a few times. But I would say yes because when you tps is wide open it tells your ecu to rev higher to get more power. But not totally sure.
