your car will turn on BUT.............

You will throw a CEL #29 i belive (don't quote me on that)...its Automatic tranny lockout or something like that, basically there is a sensor on the auto tranny that isn't on the manual one that the computer looks for.

Also you will not be able to get into VTEC due to this.

You could send me the ECU and I will switch it over for 20bux plus shipping....or you can just remove RP17 and you will be good to go

Yea thats cool if you want to I can switch them over from auto to 5spd no problems, but i've never installed a chip b4. I do have a guy down here who chips all my computers though. Good guy and good work I got a p28 i'm riding on right now with type R specs and Vtec set @ 5200rpm, runs great. I don't know what kinda set up your running or what kinda chip you got but if your interested in getting it chipped by my guy lemme know. Or if you just want the auto to 5spd switch. Just lemme know

nice setup.....high reving all motor build.

What kinda chip is it that you have that your looking to install? Do you have any info about the specs on it? Is it just a stock honda map Ie: GSR, type R? or is it an after market chip such as Jun or something?

And honestly dude if I were you I would just get Hondata or Chorme or something like that and get the thing tuned cause your not only going to get the most power outta each rpm level, but you can also re-tune as needed for changing conditions such as summer, winter, daily driving, racing. You already have a good chunk of change in the motor so why not?

I just have a type r map on my ECU right now cause i'm driving on a stock B16A2 swap and I just daily drive it.
