I just put my p28 with hondata s200 in my car and its throwing codes 13 and 16 it doesnt throw the codes with a p30 ecu so I know its in the ecu. I was wondering if it can be anything to do with the hondata installation or if the ecu is bad.

 

First, what specific P28 are you using? If you can get us the exact code on the label, that would surely help. With the error codes you're getting...I'm getting a hunch what your problem is.

Also, who did the hondata install? Was it a DIY or a shop?

 

Here are the numbers off the ecu 37852-P28-G01 and then below that is
766-217682. I installed the hondata myself and followed the directions that came with it.

 

Hehehe...my spidey sense was right. You have an euro P28 which is different from the USDM / JDM P28 ECUs. This is why you are getting those error codes.
