Default p28 ecu question.

im going to do a ls swap in my eg hatch and i was wondeing if i can use my p28 ecu since the motor i have right now is a single cam vtec and would i be able to use it since its a non vtec motor?

The car will run, but it'll run like ****. You'll be throwing 2 codes along with not having correct fuel or ignition maps.

na i dont think itll run like **** dont get me wrong you will throw 2 maybe 3 codes but itll run hard, my boy had a p28 in his integra ls and big difference from the ls ecu.

how is the p28 gonna perform good on an twin cam ls, when the p28 is designed to run and have the right fuel maps for the single cam motor?

am i missing something here

Look in http://www.Hondata.com It shows what ECU's **** with what car and what other ECU will work for that car...The P28 will work
