p28 ecu: auto to manual possible?
is it possible to change an auto ecu to a manual ecu without chipping? i am currently running an auto ecu on my y8 but am getting tired of the check engine light being on b/c of the neutral lock out thing? is there a way to do this? i have electrical skills and what not. thanks for any help givin.

yeah u can and its easy as heck!!!...well for the obd1 ecu p28...all u need is to cut the resistor rp17 and put a jumper on rp18 which is on the auto/manual selction part of the ecu...

yep. just cut both rp17 and 18, then jumper rp18.
