I've got a h22 motor in my '97 civic, and it idles like crap using the 'lude ecu. I switched (for grins) to my apare p28 ecu, and it idles great.
My EGR may not be wired correctly, so would that cause the problem because the p28 doesn't look for an EGR, or do you think my prelude ECU is screwed?

Yes. The EGR is a little biatch, and it does affect your idle while using the P13 ecu. And yes, the P28 doesn't look for the EGR valve. I don't think your P13 ecu is messed up, try it out in a stock prelude or somthing. I wish I knew the wire shematics for the H22 EGR, otherwise I'd share it with you.....
