Default P1259 vtec system malfunction PLEASE HELP

just installed a vafc in my gsr civic everything runs fine but i have thrown P1259 and obiviously vtec isnt engaging i havent changed any of the settings. set everything to spec 4 cyl, up arrow throttle, sensors 6 in and 6 out, any ideas of what could cause this? i went through the settings again after driving it home and somehow the cyl went to 6 and i put it back but it still is throwin P1259!!?!?!?!? wtf somebody help me please

i'm sure vtec worked before you installed the vafc...check your wiring

i checked everything again and i figured out it went back to 6 cyl again put it back on four and did the initializing again and now everything works not sure what happened but thanks for the reply and on me for not tryin to set it up again b4 i freaked out just been a long day if you read my other posts from today you will understand
