Default p06 problem

I have a p06 from a manual obd1 car. I have a obd conversion for my ef hatch, with a y8 motor, y7 dizzy clipped for obd0. When i turn the key on, the fuel pump doesn't stop priming, and it doesn't start. I went wire by wire on the conversion harness, and it checked out ok. The main relay is good, i tested it here: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/checking-main-relay-pics-2535047/ and it was good. obd0 pm6 runs fine, but this one won't start. I had a p28 as well but it popped a cap and it hasn't worked so i got the p06. I really need my car. any advice please help

I don't actually. I have been trying to find one to borrow and test, but none immediately available. I think it is too, but the p28 i tried would only start sometimes. I thought it was the cap, but when i changed it it still didn't work completely. This is ridiculous. And the only code i get is 19, and thats for autotragic only.

If an injector is stuck open, will the fuel pump still prime forever?

when i put everything back stock to how i got it, it still doesnt start. The pm6 is running everything fine, and not showing any C.E.L. codes yet beacuse i can't get it started. I know its working because it flashed code 13 because i had unplugged it when i took out the dash. I smell fuel all over, and the spark is timed right. I did swap over to 0bd1 injectors and had it running but idk if my faulty ecu opened the injector and then left it open and it got stuck or something. I really need my daily driver back..

I actually got everything running. The obd0 pm6 is running perfectly now, and in addition to a functioning cluster the vss is working so it runs better than it has. The obd1 p06 would just prime the fuel pump forever.. The only code that one flashes is 19, and when i unplug the fuel pump so it doesn't burn out, 16. I took out rp17 and rp18 and put a solid jumper wire through rp18 and now it doesn't turn on. I think the caps might be bad too on that one and i got ripped off twice.

The main capacitor was juicy looking on the first p28 i bought, and the p06 wouldn't shut off the fuel pump. I didn't have a car to test them on, and i actually think the first one was good, but i had oil build up in the cylinders due to bad seals when i was cranking it trying to get the p28 to run it. When the p06 wouldn't stop adding fuel the cylinders filled with gas so nothing was firing. I pulled the plugs and cranked the sh*t out of it and it looked like a whale swimming in BP's mess' blowhole. After i cleared it and put everything back obd0, it started but looked like a flooded diesel for a while til everything cleared out.

So when you plug in the p06 there is no cel? Have you double checked your wiring?

There is CEL's, but the fuel pump doesnt stop priming. The only codes were 19, and when i unplugged the fuel pump so i could pull codes without it burning out, 16 which is injectors/fuel system. Does the p06 prime forever until the car fires?

Nope it should stop. If you want to get your ecu tested send it to Chris at http://www.xenocron.com/ecu-repair-s...c46ddf0bfaf1ba

Yeah i thought so.. Damn. Being in Hawaii it might be cheaper to try find another one, or I'll search more for a local tuner. Thanks for the advice fellas
