Default p05 ecu and a p13 comparison

i just done a motor swap recently and i have a p05 ecu running my h22a4 and i am getting a code 41 and a code 2 which are o2 sensor codes.

my question is the o2 sensor pin out the same with a p05 ecu and a p13 ecu???????????

i have been told it is dif and i have been told it is the same. can some one confirm this for me. cause i have seached and searched. i can only find 1 pin out and that is for the p13. im having no luck finding a p05 pinout.

thank for your help,

CEL2 will never appear on a P05, P05 means OBD1, which means no secondary O2.
20? (ELD)

41 = primary O2 heater, which is likely a wiring problem. make sure that you're getting 12V on one side of the heater and are connected to the ECU on the other.

FYI: the P05 pinout and P28 pinout are identical (without the stuff that the P05 lacks)

p05's are for a 1 wire o2, they don't have the heater control circuitry, can add it though:

i just cant get this brand new o2 sensor to work unless something else is making the code come

i have yellow black going to power 12v off ecu
i have green white wire going directly to other sensors
i have whit wire going to a6 pin
i have orange going to d14 pin

does this look correct to you?
if it does then apperantly i have something else throwing the code like(egr)(leaking injectors) or something like that.

but the real funny thing is that it runs better when it is hot not cold.

ahhh, there is the problem.
white - D14
orange/black - A6

But like ndogg said... unless the O2 heater hardware has been added to the P05, it doesn't care about the heater.
And if the O2 heater is not disabled in your chip you will ALWAYS get the CEL for it. Even if the O2 is wired perfectly.

The P05 does not have EGR capability, so it will not set the CEL for it.

It will run better cold because the ECU will run open loop until it's warmed up, then it tries to read the O2... which since you have the CEL for it, the car will run rich and pull ignition timing.

thanks guys you have been a real help.

but like i said before it does not run good when it is cold. it apparantly is not going into closed loop. when it is cold it backfires and will not idle correctly. and misfires

it runs better when it is warm up. and it doent backfire. does misfire, v-tech kicks in, and has power.

maybe it is something else causing my problem.
