Default P/steer help! ID this object

In the midst removing power steering from my car, need to know what this plug is. Some kind of p/steer fluid pressure sensor??? It's screwed into the line that feeds into the pump and it's connected to an electrical connector on the other end. Do i need this? Can I just leave it disconnected?

TIA

Lyonel: Would you mind making a how to on removing the PS stuff for G2s? I am going to be doing this in a month or so. Thanks.

It's some sort of pressure switch...I had heard it raises the vehicle's idle speed a little, like if you turn the wheel below a certain engine RPM. Anyone else care to confirm?

Yep, you're right. A honda guru friend confirmed it for me. Was also given the bad news that if I did this conversion I might not pass 'warrant of fitness'

Looks like I won't be able to write up that how-to This was the original plan: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=184202
