Power steering removed, now it idles kinda weird.
I have a '94 del sol Si. I took off the power steering yesterday and just cut the wires that go to the pressure sensor. I took off the belt last week. Since I removed the rest of it, it seems to idle too low and bounces. Does anyone know what the purpose of that soensor was? Should I connect the wires? I searched and didn't find what I was looking for. thanks.

All I know is that the ECU uses the power steering pressure sensor to control idle speed. How it influences the idle, I am unsure of.

I've never experienced any problems simply unplugging the sensor and securing the plug out of the way.
